Cookies we use
Technical cookies — always active
Necessary for the website to function and to keep a record of your choices. They do not require consent under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The cookie recording your preferences is also processed on the basis of the obligation, under Article 7(1) GDPR, to be able to demonstrate the consent obtained. They are written only after you have made a choice in the banner: before that, the website saves nothing on your device.

Marketing cookies — subject to consent
Set by YouTube when you consent to the "Marketing" category and an embedded video is loaded. They are placed on the youtube.com domain and are written when the video loads, even if you do not start playback.

Preference cookies — subject to consent
The interactive map on the "Where we are" page is loaded only if you consent to the "Preferences" category. As at the verification date shown below, loading the map sets no cookies on your device.

Verified on the website on 30 August 2026. Consent remains necessary because the connection still involves the processing of personal data. Google may set cookies on its own domains in connection with a Google account active in your browser: such cookies are not set by this website and are outside the controller's control.
Tools that set no cookies
Some website components store nothing on your device but still involve a connection to an external server, and therefore the transmission of your IP address. They occur regardless of the choices expressed in the banner.

Third-party services
All the Google services listed involve a transfer of data to the United States. The safeguards applied to those transfers are described in the "Transfers outside the EU" section of the Privacy Policy.
How we record your consent
The choices you express in the banner are recorded in the ccwps_consent cookie, together with the date and the version of the notice they relate to. Consent is valid for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again.
The record of your consent is kept on your device and not in a server-side archive: the controller therefore does not link your choices to a personal identifier. You can inspect the contents of this cookie at any time using your browser's developer tools.
Consent for a single category
The placeholders that replace videos and the map contain a button that allows only the category that content requires, leaving the others unchanged. Accepting a video does not enable statistics, and vice versa. The "All cookie preferences" link gives you access to the full panel at any time.
What happens when you withdraw consent
When you withdraw a category, the website immediately stops sending data to the corresponding services and blocked content reverts to the placeholder. For the "Statistics" category, the _ga and _ga_TDD3ZM95RX cookies are also removed from your device.
Cookies set on the youtube.com domain remain stored until they expire, because they belong to a different domain and cannot be removed from here: you can delete them through your browser settings.

Consequences of refusal
Refusing cookies does not prevent you from using the website, which remains fully accessible in all its pages and informational features. Specifically:
- Statistics: no consequence for you. The controller has no data about your visit.
- Marketing: embedded videos are not loaded. A placeholder with a consent button is shown instead.
- Preferences: the interactive map is not loaded. A placeholder is shown instead, with a direct link to Google Maps that you can open in a new tab.
The contact form, navigation and access to content work normally in all cases.
