Benchtop Plasma Cleaners and Accessories

Harrick Plasma: Eccellenza scientifica nel trattamento delle superfici

Harrick Plasma is a leading manufacturer with over 30 years of industry expertise, specializing in benchtop plasma cleaners, vacuum pumps, and surface treatment accessories for research laboratories, universities, R&D centers, and advanced scientific applications. The company focuses on tabletop instrumentation for plasma cleaning, surface activation, and surface chemistry modification, offering solutions specifically designed for fields such as materials science, microfluidics, life sciences, optics, sensors, polymers, biomaterials, and nanotechnology.

Harrick Plasma’s treatment solutions are utilized to remove nanoscale surface contamination and modify surface chemistry without altering the bulk properties of the material. The process operates at near-ambient temperatures, significantly reducing the risk of thermal damage to heat-sensitive materials. Depending on the process gases and operating parameters, plasma can be effectively employed for surface cleaning, surface activation, and precise surface chemistry modification.

Harrick Plasma Cleaners: Benchtop Solutions for Surface Engineering

Harrick Plasma cleaners are specialized benchtop instruments designed for advanced laboratory surface engineering applications. These systems are engineered for a wide range of processes, including surface cleaning, surface activation, surface energy alteration, surface preparation for bonding and adhesion, and the modification of surface chemistry. They are also highly effective for the surface treatment of polymers and biomaterials through activation, grafting, and coating techniques.

This versatility makes Harrick systems the ideal choice for professionals seeking a dedicated plasma cleaner for adhesion, polymer processing, surface wettability control, or a comprehensive solution for sample preparation prior to coating, bonding, or deposition.

Basic Plasma Cleaner

The Basic Plasma Cleaner is the compact, entry-level model in the Harrick Plasma product line. This tabletop unit features a Pyrex chamber (3 inches in diameter by 6.5 inches in length) and is equipped with a hinged door including a viewing window for process monitoring. Key technical specifications include active cooling, three selectable RF power levels, and a maximum RF power output of 18 W.

Expanded Plasma Cleaner is a larger benchtop plasma instrument and extensively used for nanoscale surface cleaning and surface activation

Expanded Plasma Cleaner

The Expanded Plasma Cleaner is the largest model in the standard product line. This benchtop instrument is widely utilized for nanoscale surface cleaning and surface activation applications. It offers four times the capacity of the Basic Plasma Cleaner, featuring a Pyrex chamber (6 inches in diameter by 6.5 inches in length) and a maximum RF power output of 30 W. Its increased volume makes it particularly suitable for processing larger samples, higher throughput requirements, or small-batch production.

With twice the cleaning rate as the Expanded Plasma Cleaner, the High Power Expanded Plasma Cleaner is a versatile instrument.

High Power Expanded Plasma Cleaner

The High Power Expanded Plasma Cleaner is the most powerful model in the product line. This versatile system offers twice the cleaning rate of the Expanded Plasma Cleaner, making it suitable not only for surface activation and modification but also for the etching of thin organic films within the 10–100 nm range. According to official specifications, the unit features a maximum RF power output of 45 W and a Pyrex chamber (6 inches in diameter by 6.5 inches in length).

Accessori Harrick Plasma

The PlasmaFlo is an optional accessory that may be used with any of our plasma cleaners.

PlasmaFlo Gas Flow Mixer

The PlasmaFlo Gas Flow Mixer is a critical accessory in the Harrick Plasma range. It provides precise, quantitative control of the gas flow rate and integrated vacuum pressure monitoring, both of which are essential for enhancing process consistency. This unit is the ideal solution for researchers aiming to standardize plasma treatments and minimize run-to-run process variations, ensuring highly repeatable results across multiple cycles.

Sample trays simplify loading and unloading of small samples and batch processing.

Sample trays and chambers

Harrick Plasma also offers sample trays and chambers in both Quartz and Pyrex. While a Pyrex chamber is included as standard with the plasma cleaner, a Quartz chamber is recommended for specific or specialized applications requiring higher purity or different chemical resistance.
